Judge to county: Reissue home permit.

Aug. 15--A judge has ordered Pima County to reissue a building permit to a Tucson couple who wanted to build a 6,000-square-foot steel home in the Catalina Foothills.

In early 2006, Tom and Leigh Glenn obtained a permit from the county to build a single-family home where a Tucson Electric Power Co. substation once stood.

The plan was to build an steel structure with a small living area for their two teenage sons to use when they entered college, with the rest of the space devoted to storage of all manner of vehicles, from dune buggies to all-terrain vehicles to motor homes.
